The TranzX PST Gryphon e-bike features a unique MTB frame concept as well as the latest central drive system that utilizes several world-first technologies. TranzX PST Gryphon offers the world's first central motor, which can accommodate up to three chain rings, enabling sporty e-bikes to be equipped with up to 30 gear ratios. As single-chain version, the central motor can also be combined with a coaster brake and a gear hub. For optimal and low abrasive power transmission (peak torque of up to 70 Nm), JD presents the worlds first motor shifting modulator. This modulator controls and manages motor power and shifting processes to avoid overstraining the chain. In combination with the central battery solution, integrated around the seat tube and permitting a practical side-unfold and take out, the TranzX PST Gryphon exhibits a perfect e-bike balance, giving the e-bike a sporty character even for hilly terrain.
