The design comes from a study of the pressures applied to the sole of the foot. The results generated a mapping that was the starting point for designing the sole. No corners have been cut in terms of comfort either; the bi-material sock-like upper fits your foot like a glove and, combined with a semi-rigid side panel, provides optimum support.
