In most interior conflagrations smoke and fumes pose a greater and more immediate threat to human life than heat and flames. There is also the problem that many modern buildings have double or triple glazing and windows that, for reasons of insulation, are not designed to open. In the event of a fire, every second counts. That's why this extinguisher combines two life-saving tools in one: a liquid-based extinguisher with the capacity to extinguish powerful blazes; and an ultra-hard glass breaking device that makes full use of the weight of the extinguisher canister.
