The Tubotecas are small libraries installed inside the tube stations, stations for boarding on the Curitiba's public transportation, which is made in glass tubular structure. Created to encourage reading among bus users, the libraries are open, where people can borrow the books they want without costs. No need to fill out any registration and there is no deadline for the return of volumes. Books are donated directly by the City Hall, by institutions and by citizens too. The project deserves to be awarded for its uniqueness and to transform a design project in an access tool to cultural property by the people in a simple and uncomplicated way.
