It was in Tumbira, a riverside community on the banks of the Rio Negro (AM) that architect Fernanda Marques collaborated with local artisans to create lathe-carved vases, made with sustainably managed wood. And inspired by this project, she created the Tumbi Collection in collaboration with St. James, made up of vases, centerpieces and, unexpectedly, also lamps. From the depths of the forest comes knowledge, an ancestral practice. From the St. James factory floor, an object of unique delicacy.
