The design of the cordless Bosch Solitaire water kettle is characterized by its high value materials. The cover and the housing have a brushed stainless steel finish. The housing is divided by a blue translucent plastic part, which allows to control the water level inside and to make the boiling process a visible experience. The ergonomic handle made out of a 2-component plastic has a soft-touch finish and is designed for comfortable one hand use. On/off button as well as the lid opener are easy to reach. On the inside food safe stainless steel and an easy to clean stainless steel heating base are used. The stainless steel lime filter can be easily removed and cleaned in a dishwasher.
