Signage system

The designers were tasked with creating a signage system with a customized set of numbers for the Craft Archives at the Seoul Museum of Craft Art (SeMoCA). The archives are a nod to the “Cabinet of Curiosities,” a historical tradition that led to the development of the large public museums we know today. The Craft Archives is a cabinet of the SeMoCA where the museum’s collections are preserved and stored. The signage needed to give the archive a consistent visual language to facilitate its activities of collecting and preserving data, holding exhibitions, and welcoming visitors. The system has given the archive a brand identity that functions as efficient signage and showcases the archive’s professionalism and accessibility.
