How does a city face the challenges of the future? This question was at the center of the Übermorgenstadt (The city of the day after tomorrow) competition for which Oldenburg received the official title as Germanys City of Science 2009 from the Stifterverband für die deutsche Wissenschaft. The program focuses on the transition from the cozy metropolis to a city inspired by a new urbanity. STOCKWERK2 designed the campaign CD for the competition and was also involved in strategy development. Using the competition design, the appearance of the city was then reinterpreted.
