Thermal imaging camera and in-mask display

Dräger Safety AG & Co.KGaA

The UCF FireCore is a unique system of a thermal image camera which can be attached tool-free to firefighting helmets and which sends a live video stream wirelessly to a high resolution OLDED head-up display inside the firefighters mask. Inside burning and heavily smoked buildings and in other emergency scenarios it allows the firefighter to constantly receive an overview of the surrounding via the thermal image in his mask. The wearer can identify fire sources and is able to find victims hidden by the smoke and rescue them. The ergonomic shaped camera can be detached from the helmet with just one grip to look for hazards in narrow spaces.
