Previously, a TVs exterior was designed in line with a developed LED panel. For the UN55D8000, however, panel development and design were carried out at the same time. It features an innovative look with an ultra-slim bezel (5 mm), resulting from a new way of thinking that has adopted the panel as a part of the exterior design. The understated look makes a distinction between the screen and the surrounding environment with a single line, showcasing unparalleled class. The metal flow that stretches from the main unit to the stand results in a level of esthetic value and elegance never witnessed in other TV products.

The shapely design of this LED television successfully reduces the frame to a minimum. On the one hand this makes the product highly unique and unmistakable, and on the other hand the picture appears very large. While the base is not new, it was interpreted in a distinct manner.
