Linoleum; new colors

A highlight especially for architects and Bauhaus fans is the new Uni Walton. Armstrong has developed new colors for this monochrome structure: grey tones, a camel brown, a beige, a refined racing green and a dark coffee brown, called “Spanish brown”. These reflect the look of linoleum 150 years ago, which Armstrong has now reintroduced for the 2013 jubilee. The Le Corbusier-based colors are updated classics from the DLW repertoire, in time for the Bauhaus year and the 150th anniversary of Van de Velde’s birth. With its minimal design, Uni Walton results in a calm surface. The darker colors in particular have a classical elegance.
