Universal Media UX

UX design

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.

The Universal Media UX is based on the Samsung accessibility design principle, “Design for all”. The main objective of the UX concept is to offer enhanced media experience to users with disabilities. The Universal media UX concept embodies 3 main synesthetic features. First, “Inclusive Shortcut” allows users to search through channels and apps just by sound and voice. Second, “Smart Caption” provides an intelligent caption that adapts to different genres of media. And third, “Visual Audio” creates a graphic visualization of the sound to enhance experiences for users with a hearing disability.
