Interactive installation

AUDI AG

Audi’s installation at Design Miami/ 2011 featured a sample of BIG’s interactive pavement of the future. This concept was initially developed by BIG for the 2010 Audi Urban Future Award and was brought to life at Design Miami/ 2011 to showcase Audi’s commitment to urban mobility and for the U.S. debut of the driverless Audi A2 concept. The installation is infused with a continuous flow of information through a programmed LED floor, allowing for real-time interaction between visitors, vehicles and their environment, and represents the future city where public space is shared between pedestrians and driverless cars.
