UV-Stethoscope

Medizin

This UV stethoscope has been designed to deal with two issues: keeping the stethoscope sterile and warm. A UV sterilizer is mounted at the base of the neck. After the stethoscope has been used on patients, all the doctor has to do is to clip it into the base. Then the sterilizer mounted on the base disinfects the stethoscope and keeps it warm with UV-C light. Now the stethoscope is always sterile and warm for every patient.

WINNER STATEMENT

It's a great honor for us to have won an iF concept design award 2014 and we'll focus our energies on developing Korean industrial design in the future. Thank you very much.
