The 175-225HP outboard motor family is compact in form and lightest in its class with excellent fuel economy. The goal was to introduce a new visual language reflective of the advanced technology that improves all aspects of performance and reliability. The engine includes a cowl design that is very tight to the package yet new and modern in its form. The V-6 FourStrokes mount on 26-inch centers, which helps them fit a broader range of transoms and efficiently mount multiples. The design team created a unique service door on top of the cowl to improve accessibility and ease of maintenance and thus the overall user experience.
