VELA is a cycle trainer that challenges the design expression of current training equipment, redefining the meaning of training at home. The form of VELA is both functional and transformative. Immersing the rider in training, beautiful light patterns are projected on the floor surrounding the cycle trainer. The color and speed of the projections indicate to the user their overall performance, stages of their session and the intensity. VELA breaks the mold with its interactive feedback and graceful sculptural form.
