Infusion needle

B. Braun Melsungen AG

Shield winged IV needle for short term infusion, injection and transfusion. Easy activation of safety shield during handling procedures (most needle stick injuries of users happen in this field with blood-filled needles!). Audible click assures that safety mechanism is activated. Once locked, the safety mechanism stays locked. It covers the needle tip after use automatically. The wings are made out of soft silicon to give the option to fold and hold both together with two fingers (between thumb and point finger) for a safe and sensitive grip. The design is following the B. Braun Corporate Product Design (CPD) for all single use parts.
