Hypoxia treatment

Hypoxia, the lack of oxygen due to low atmospheric pressure, is a major risk factor at high altitudes and can lead to life-threatening lung and brain edemas. Millions of people live in elevated areas and the global popularity of trekking and mountain climbing has led to increasing numbers of tourists in remote mountain areas. This means that mountain sickness is a public health problem in many countries. Vento is a compact and portable airway pressure mask designed for emergency hypoxia treatment at high altitudes. The product is foldable and easy to carry. Packed in a soft shell, it fits in any backpack and can be taken to the most remote regions.

JURY STATEMENT
