Located on a large ranch in São Paulo’s countryside, Village House embodies mk27’s core value of blurring indoor and outdoor boundaries. Thick stone volumes define intimate programmatic spaces, arranged freely around alleys and piazzas that act as galleries and terraces, evoking medieval villages. Natural light filters from ceilings, while wooden interiors and textured materials create warmth. The design responds to the site’s topography and vegetation, using orientation and landscape to frame dynamic views and enhance the connection between spaces.
