Fire safety door handle
Vita is a fire safety door handle that saves lives by blocking smoke and providing feedback to the firefighters about your location in dense smoke. The product includes two handles, indoor and outdoor, that work on the electricity generated through salt ions in tap water using galvanic cells. A cloth strip submerged in water is stored in the inner handle and can be pulled out to seal the gap in the door. Upon pulling the cloth out, the outer unit triggers a buzzer and beeping light that help firefighters locate, track and save the people trapped in the burning building.
