The design is inspired by “Uramasari,” the Japanese concept of being simple, modest, and classic on the outside while hiding richness, expressiveness, and colorfulness inside. The contrasting approaches for the visitor area (subtle and harmonious) and the staff area (colorful and expressive) reflect this concept. The staff area is organized by a uniformity that gradually and sometimes surprisingly reveals colors and themes derived from a modern interpretation of local culture and traditions. The new work environment serves to stimulate and encourage a new way of working that focuses on flexibility and collaboration.
