The collector’s box set edition of the album “Voormann & Friends – A Sideman’s Journey” was published in June of 2009. The album follows the musical journey of renowned “sideman” Klaus Voormann, who has set milestones over the decades, both as a bass player and a graphic designer. Among others, he worked with John Lennon, George Harrison, Eric Clapton and B. B. King. He also designed the cover artwork for the Beatles’ “Revolver” album. His black and white illustrations were used as a model for the artwork and packaging of this box set.
