The VPL-FX40 is a super-bright 4000-lumen data projector. Continuing the one-sheet wrap concept which all the Sony front projector products share, it keeps the top extremely simple, by housing the exhaust port, terminals, and other complex elements in a black area on the side. In addition, the sides consist of multifaceted surfaces, achieving a shape that lightens the appearance of thickness and presents a dynamic form. The parting line, lid edges, and other cleavage lines are hidden in the edges of the multifaceted surface, making the molded structure imperceptible.
