With the intent of changing the frequency of drunk driving through creative thinking, we wondered whether there were risk-free alternatives where people could experience how alcohol affects their physical perceptions while driving. We hope a VR-based drunk driving simulation will enable responsible drivers to experience, in advance, the negative effects of alcohol on their driving in person, encouraging them to say no to drunk driving. A digital game based on VR technology, the VR-based drunk driving simulation is designed to allow sober participants to experience how alcohol affects the senses of drivers and driving safety.
