Patients with traumatic spinal injuries typically require a custom Cervical Thoracic Lumbar Sacral Orthosis (CTLSO) that stabilizes their spine before or after surgery. They typically have to wait for up to 3 days to receive their CTLSO after being measured and fit. The VRTX System was designed to fit patients with multi-level spinal injuries without requiring customization. Its prefabricated design with adjustable sizing allows for clinicians to immediately fit their patients in a brace and stabilize the spine. This in turn reduces the patient’s length of stay and optimizes care, time, costs, and resources.
