The Wabi table has a steel base frame and is hand-coated in natural wood veneers. It has a unique aesthetic that creates a feeling of lightness and simplicity. Wabi-sabi, a Japanese aesthetic concept in which the sense of beauty is “imperfect, impermanent and incomplete,” inspired the name and gave this table its subtle character. It would have been possible to manufacture the table in Asia more cheaply, but it is made in Brazil to reduce environmental impact. The choice of steel and laminated recycled wood saves resources and ensures durability.
