Wait Until It Dries
Exhibition
Following the theme of a traditional Chinese family, this exhibition was installed in a traditional Taiwan courtyard. The exhibition, by Taiwanese artist Chou Shih Hsiung, is titled ”Endless Corridor". The reflective surfaces create a sense of endlessness within the enclosed space. Several paintings in the room, including Father, Mother, Good Boy, Bad Boy, and Family Portrait, are echoed and duplicated time and again by the mirrors on the Endless Corridor. The temperature of the exhibition lighting cools from the center to the sides of the space; the warm colors in the middle give the installation an appearance similar to a shiny city, yet the cold temperature light emphasized the black "oil painting" defines the overall texture, color tone and outlines of the exhibition.
