Waiting, Reunion and Bloom
Residential space
Ms. Ya-Lan Pan / Limo Design Co., Ltd.
This project focuses on the adaptive reuse and transformation of an old apartment, giving it a new spatial and personal life with minimal intervention and low energy consumption. Guided by the principle of “least intervention,” the renovation adheres to six core “low-impact” principles: Low demolition, low waste, low pollution, low load, low energy consumption, and low material loss. Through a minimalist and sustainable design approach, the space is endowed with new cultural functions and emotional value, inviting reflection on the relationships between old buildings, the environment, and the self.
