SHISEIDO Co., Ltd.Millennials prefer to use skincare products while doing other things, therefore, we added the hole as a signature design, representing the idea of being able to grab the package and go, or attach it to something else. The dimensions of the hole were very carefully considered, and we went through many design iterations before finally achieving perfect one. The hole gives the packaging a unique identity – authentic, simple, but not too simple, with a definite presence of its own.
