All mains water contains minerals that can be harsh on fabrics. This technology softens and purifies water using an ion exchange filter. The filter exchanges harsh minerals with sodium ions, creating soft and pure water. In softened and purified water, detergents work more effectively, maintaining colors for longer. In traditional machines, harsh mineral deposits can compromise the shape and texture of garments. AEG washing machines are the first in the world with this Water-Softener technology.
