Mooncake packaging

The design concept of these Chinese pastry gift boxes showcases the lotus. Each box shows a different stage in the life of the lotus flower: on the first, it is starting to flower; on the second, it is in full bloom; and on the third, it fades and withers. The lotus symbolizes harmony and reunion, which is exactly the meaning of the Mid-Autumn Festival reunion. The pastry box inside is square and can be folded into the shape of a flower to catch crumbs while eating or to keep the mooncakes sealed for later consumption.
