Residential Interior design
Xiang Dao Design
Designed for an elderly homeowner and three-generation family, the project embraces the theme “Weaving,” inspired by the parents’ curtain-making profession. Wood floors, stone divisions, and drapery interlace to express connection, continuity, and family bonds through light and shadow. The open-plan social area links dining and reading zones, with low cabinets for transparency and ergonomics. The TV wall curves with blanc travertine and moonlight beige stone, while the tatami room’s hinoki ceiling weaves concealed air vents, blending traditional craft with modern function.
