Well-being for Healthcare Workers

Experience concepts responding to Industry Crisis

Philips

With 35-54% of nurses and physicians reporting burnout according to The US Office of the Surgeon General, staffing has reached crisis levels. Responding to this crisis, we envisioned seven spatial and experiential settings to support staff well-being in the hospital. Informed by healthcare workers’ perspectives and broad industry research, these settings leverage proven technology and scientific evidence to enhance resilience and reduce distress. As a full suite or as individual settings, these offerings give health systems new tools to support the well-being of their staff and demonstrate their commitment to these essential workers.
