Wetterpark Offenbach
Landscape architecture
Planungsverband Ballungsraum Frankfurt / Rhein-Main
unit-design conceived and carried-out the redevelopment of a wasteland area of 20,000 sqm into a permanent open-air exhibition, open to the public, for the town. Through exhibit installations and explanatory graphics the visitors are conveyed the complex coherences of the weather and their scientific background in an understandable way. The project encompassed the editorial drafting of the contents, the concept, and the blueprints for the exhibits, as well as the integration and planning of the landscape areas in the combination of information and product design, architecture and landscape planning.
