Whisper
Residential Interiors
The owner of this project is a couple who likes to read in daily life, so we simplified the decoration of the space, with the overlapping curved ceilings and solid wood grilles. The shadows will be generated by time change, as if the space will whisper, gently accompanying the owner to settle between the pages. Facing the L-shaped public area, we use the ceilings as thin as pages to stack on each other to extend the space. While the corridor leaves open bookshelf space, and the continuous gray wall introduces light and shadow, so that the aisle is no longer a simple passage but a leading reading experience.
