This community center design set out to achieve harmony between the surface landscape and the underground construction, integrating a design concept of mountain shapes to create a truly 'landscaped' building. This project reactivates the public space around the community, transforming and redefining the residential district. The community center, as a place for exchange and gathering, becomes a city node that stimulates public energy.

White Mountain community center features a lyrical design that reflects the natural beauty of its location. This is achieved through complex and meticulously crafted organic forms. A combination of high-tech form-finding and poetic narration defines this unique space, which succeeds in being both otherworldly and embedded within its surroundings.
