Windsible brings traditional wind tunnel testing to the desktop as a device for aerodynamic testing of car models. By understanding and extending the technology, we have miniaturized large-scale wind tunnels to a size suitable for 1:64 scale car models. Using liquid atomization technology, we create smoke that visualizes airflow and is eventually recaptured. This allows users to easily place their car models into the setup for display, while also enabling testing and observation of the aerodynamic shapes of the models.
