Corporate Design

The city of Cuxhaven, located at Germany's North Sea coast, wants to develop a look and feel for its new “Shipwreck & Fishing Museum” opening in the landmarked fish market halls. Inspired by the museum's location at the mouth of the river Elbe and its name, “Windstärke 10” (“Wind Force 10”), we developed a flexible look and feel visually reflecting the changing wind forces − from calm to hurricane. The look and feel of the museum's website changes according to both weather and wind force and, thus, reflects the surrounding nature of the Hamburg Wadden Sea National Park.
