The demographic shift affects mainly the rural areas. Many villages will become abandoned without action taken now. A first step is this brochure which is distributed to the mayors of the county of Germersheim. How could "Living in a village" become more attractive again? Some of those ideas we visualized with “Playmobil” figures and accessories. This deliberately playful approach to this otherwise serious subject makes it more fun to find interest in the matter. On the title page, mayors will find a list of the constituent parts of an average village in the county. Their village becomes a building block set they are encouraged to play with.
