The long and narrow old house leads to dark and claustrophobic living spaces. Although this end-terrace house benefits from natural light from three sides, the space was not utilized effectively due to a poor layout. To satisfy the couple's expectations, the layout was adjusted by moving the kitchen parallel to the living room, maximizing the amount of light in the semi-open floor plan. Gentle slopes create traffic flows to establish a visual link between the interior spaces, allowing for spacious walking space in the public corridor. Soft earthy colors create a neutral and serene base.
