Water Transport System

An aesthetic utopia to show an alternative idea for bottled water: 'Wasser Transport & Trinkzubehör' means 'water transport and drinking accessories'. The accessories are built to bottle water directly at source, from a natural spring in the region where I was born, the Black Forest. The process of fetching water from unspoilt nature highlights many difficult problems related to the commercialization of water. By using and processing natural and ecological materials, the manufacturing process works without using a mold. What's more, all objects are 100% recyclable or completely biodegradable (backpack, ladle, baskets, bottles, glasses).

JURY STATEMENT

As the student describes by himself. An aesthetical utopia to show an alternative idea about bottled water. An awareness proposal, well designed and executed, though not really working for the majority.

WINNER STATEMENT

The iF STUDENT DESIGN AWARD is a great appreciation for me and my work. I'm really happy to receive this quality label of good design.
