WWF Deutschland
As an NGO, WWF relies on donations. But people are getting weary of donating because they never really get to see the good that their money does. To change this, WWF created Save What You See – the first mobile banner that made the impact of donations visible. The banner used the exact size of mobile screens to show how much area of the Amazon rainforest was being saved by clicking on it. By letting people visualise the difference that their money was making in real-time, WWF took down a big mental obstacle among potential donors.
