BARMER’s online branch offers policyholders and other interested parties a number of user-friendly online services and information involving all aspects of insurance coverage. In addition, the website serves as a general information platform on health and quality-of-life issues. The conception and design came about in liaison with BARMER’s Marketing and IT departments, taking into account relevant guidelines on the “barrier-free” accessibility of Internet applications. The online design is fully integrated into BARMER’s communications strategy and carries over familiar design elements from its printed publications.
