Rijksmuseum

The works of the two great masters are compared to one another in a unique way in the museum and on the site. In particular, viewing and comparing the paintings right down to the detailed level can be carried out perfectly online. Visitors to the site can choose an automatic virtual guided tour, but can also zoom in themselves on details and “hotspots”. The similarities and differences between the works of Rembrandt and Caravaggio are illuminated by means of a number of “sets” of paintings. It’s also possible to register your response to the paintings themselves in this digital exhibition.
