X·bar

The X·bar is in the Hangzhou City Mall. The site has very special characteristics: an oval building surrounded by transparent glass curtain walls. Most of the space is suspended from the outdoor third floor of the mall, like a huge aerospace cabin floating in the middle of the city. The name "X·bar" has many connotations: "Xing" is a polysemous word in Chinese. Action, behavior, dynamics, and interaction. Thus, the concept of creating a space that emphasizes interaction with people based on the idea of interstellar travel was born.
