Xbox lounges are a unique mix of bar, club and showroom for Microsoft's video game system. A lounge interior was designed to support the simultaneous installation of temporary Xbox lounges in four major German cities. A simple and flexible system was developed that can be adapted to virtually any location, allowing the contents and value of the brand identity to be transported within a set time-and-cost framework and significantly enhancing the presence and identity of the product world beyond mere playing time. Based on three lounge furniture elements, feldmann+schultchen design came up with a modular system that can be set up in an almost infinite variety of spatial arrangements. The open edges and interior bathed in green light make all facets of the cubistic body appear to levitate.
