Dialyser

B. Braun Avitum (Shanghai) Trading Co. Ltd.

2 million people worldwide rely on regular dialysis treatment. As kidney transplantation is often not possible or associated with long waiting times, dialysis treatments, carried out two to three times per week, are essential. The dialyser is at the heart of dialysis (detoxification and removal of water). The design solution for the bundle head expansion, the blood cap and the protective plug guarantee economic manufacturing, unproblematic handling in daily use, as well as the homogeneous distribution of dialysis fluid in the dialyser, thereby contributing to the excellent clearance performance of xevonta. The contours around the nozzle on the caps surface symbolise the flow of blood and dialysis fluid within the dialyser. The grey caps mask the colour of the blood.
