Ripple is the MIUI animation system for TV. Ripple breaks away from linear design on animation to offer more natural transitions, a smooth design language, and more engaging user elements. Ripple also speeds up the animation rules for large-screen far-field interaction. The system keeps users oriented during interaction, especially for switching between subjects and making those changes feel smooth. The transitions give users the feeling of interacting with a real object, thanks to the natural motion system designed specifically for TV. Previously, system animation design was aimed at mobile phones and computers whereas Ripple has been specially developed for the TV device.
