Xinjiang Stone Museum

Interior Architecture

Located in China’s Xinjiang province, the Xinjiang Stone Museum mainly exhibits precious stones containing cultural connotation. “One Stone, One World” is the theme of the museum. “Appearance, Shape, Glossiness, Color” of stones are highlighted by using Xinjiang’s local architectural symbols and special materials to create a mystic and astounding atmosphere. Design languages such as object display, landscape, geometry and mirrors are incorporated into the exhibition hall where one can taste delicacy and miracles of the universe and will experience “oneness between human being and nature, forgetting both himself and the external world.”
