YUAN: Sino-Japanese Contemporary Art Exchange
Poster
ZHOU XIONGBO STUDIO
YUAN meaning source is a work exchange exhibition held by Chinese and Japanese contemporary artists at the Sasaki Art Museum in Sendai, Japan. I used a piece of work that was affixed to the carton of SF Express by the China Post. These two labels represent China's logistics. The paper has the words "transnational" and other advertisements, as well as China and Japan printed on the paper. I designed the text as a cardboard box with a gap in the middle, like an open carton. The inscriptions of the exhibition came out of the gaps in the cartons, and other text messages were placed on the labels and between the torn corrugated flaps.
